My name is Doug and I am a 24 year old geek. You can normally find me at work(pizza place) or on the internet(I am a very active Digger). . .I like news on the gaming industry.
Background
My first computer was an 8088. . .didn’t even have a HDD. It booted DOS off of 5 1/4 floppy and really only played Jeopardy(and very loud too). When I got in high school(1997) I learned HTML and picked up one of the biggest hobbies of my life. After seeing the iPhone and what it could do I was astonished, but I never liked owning a cell phone. It’s too expensive. . .I don’t talk on the phone that much. . .plus a contract. . .even an iPhone couldn’t sucker me into getting one. Unaware that you could do a ‘fake activation’ and jailbreak the iPhone, use it on wifi, and basically have an iPod Touch with bluetooth, a microphone, and a speaker. Then I heard about the iPod Touch and the rest is history. :p
Purpose
When I first jailbroke the iPod Touch I saw there were sooo many applications and summerboard themes. Hating the fact that I had to install each one to see what the application was. . .or see what the theme looked like.
Summerboard Themes are the best part about jailbreaking your iPhone and iPod Touch. . .and having a place where someone can browse all of the available themes is very useful.
